2010 Super 32 Qualifier will be Sept 4th at Parkview High

They added a qualifier this year.
The 2010 Georgia Super 32 qualifier will be held on September 4th as a one day event at Parkview High School. There will be High School and Middle School age divisions.
Registration: Now until August 31st
Weigh Ins: Friday Sept 3rd 5PM - 10PM
Competition: Saturday September 4th 8AM

Wrestling Meeting for Anyone Interested in Wrestling - Aug 31 -

The first meeting for all those interested in wrestling this season will be on August 31st at 7:45am in Room PE07.

Summer Season Practices -
5/25/2010
Summer Season Practices for the High School Team will be held 4-5pm, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Roswell High School.
If you did not pre-register or commit to the summer season, contact Coach Goff.
There are open Mats on Wednesdays at Centennial High School every Wednesday starting at 6 p.m.

Summer Season Reminder!! -
4/5/2010
Time is running out to sign up for our summer season. If we don`t have a full team by May 1st, Coach will look into getting guys from other schools to fill the list. If you have sent a check to Jim Martin instead of paying online, Please let Coach know so he can keep track. Coach Goff should have mockups this week of the custom fight shorts and t-shirts we are ordering for just those who particpate in the summer season. Please contact Coach Goff if you need to pay on installments and something can be worked out. We plan on doing a carwash and some other ideas in the works to raise money for the summer guys to help offset summer dues.
This will be a super fun summer!

Physical and Insurance Forms for Summer/Fall Seasons -

All guys will need a current physical for this coming summer and season.
North Fulton Hospital is offering free physicals for Roswell High School athletes on April 24 at 8:00am. See Coach Goff for a flyer.
You will need to bring a GHSA physical form with you when you go.
You can download the physical form and the insurance form from the links/file menu option to the left.

Roswell Summer Wrestling Camp w/Harry Lester Militia Duals Prep -

This camp will be part of our prep for those planning on wrestling in the Militia Duals with us, you must attend if you want to wrestle in Militia Duals. This camp supports our program as well! Click on the left link `forms and files` to download the form.
The camp will be held from June 14-17 at the High School.
Harry Lester will be leading the camp along with eight other national and regional champions!
Camp time is from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
The cost is $250.00 (a $150.00 deposit is due by May 5th and the remainder is due at the first practice).
Let Coach Goff know once you`ve sent in your registration.

Freestyle and Greco Practices - Open Mats at the Cooler -

Freestyle and Greco practices start at Harrison this Monday and Wednesday from 6:00- 8:00. Coach Goff will be leaving Roswell afternoons to go to these so if anyone wants to go that needs a ride let him know.
You must have a valid USA card, though. got to www.themat.com to get a card.
If you are not attending team GA practices, you need to go to the open mats at the Cooler starting this Wed night.

End of Season Banquet - March 9, 2010 -

The wrestling season is in full swing and before we know it, the season is over. Now is the time that we begin to think about the celebration in honor of our sons for their hard work, farewell to our wrestlers who will be graduating this year, and the coaches for their time and dedication.
For this year`s banquet, we have done a lot of cost comparisons of various banquet facilities in the area, as a consideration to all our families. Consequently, we have decided to host this year`s banquet at the Brookfield Country Club on Tuesday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m. The cost per person is $25.00. The cost of hosting the banquet at the Brookfield is comparable or better than other facilities in the area.
Ivone Hughes will be collecting monies for the banquet and donations for coaches` gifts.
