Evan
Goff
Varsity Head Coach
Coach Goff grew up in Fitzgerald, a town small in size but big in sports. He was active in gymnastics, golf, football, wrestling, and baseball.
He began wrestling in the USA KidsState wrestling program, winning several state championships and numerous state places. As a varsity wrestler at Fitzgerald High, Goff was a 3-time area champion, placing 5th as a junior at state and 3rd as a senior at state. Voted Most Versatile, Goff was a tri-athlete and an honor graduate of FHS.
Goff attended Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta on a 4-year baseball scholarship where he played both infield and outfield positions and set several school records in baseball. He completed a Bachelor's degree in Management and was part of a conference championship baseball team. During the championship season, he led SP in hitting with a .392 batting average, earning the offensive award for the season.
Goff received an MEd in Kinesiology from UGA and a K-12 Health and PE certification in 2005. Coach Goff has served two years as the assistant coach under Travis Carr and will be making the 2010-2011 wrestling season his first as Head Wrestling Coach. Coach Goff begins the 2010-2011 season as Head Fastpitch softball coach as well.
Goff states, " I am happy to be a part of athletics and education at its best at Roswell High School and look forward to many successful years here."

Dan
Snyder
Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Dan Snyder comes to Atlanta from Erie Pennsylvania . Dan attended Harbor Creek High School where he was a two time letter winner in football and a three time letter winner in wrestling. In wrestling Dan competed at 160 pounds his senior year, Dan helped his team compete for a district title, Dan also made his second trip to Pennsylvania state tournament his senior year.
Dan was brought to Wrestling powerhouse Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Dan wrestled at 157 pounds for the fighting Scots. In Dan's four years as a fighting Scot he helped his team to two top 5 finishes at the Division 1 NCAA tournament, as well as a 23rd. and a 15th. place Finnish respectively. Dan wrestled in many prestigious tournaments thought his career including the Southern Scuffle, Virginia duals, the Oklahoma Gold Classic, and The Journeyman Sprawl and Brawl.
Dan graduated in May with a BS degree in human performance. Dan currently works for Georgia Tech as a strength and conditioning coach, and is seeking his masters degree in sports psychology online through California University of Pennsylvania. Dan is eager about getting back on the mat this time as a coach.

Daniel
Brunner
Junior Varsity Co-Head Coach
Coach Brunner is a Social Studies Teacher and a Football Coach for RHS and has been assisting as a conditioning and assistant coach for RHS Wrestling for the past couple of years.
Coach Brunner received his B.A in Political Science, Rhodes College in 2006, his Masters of Arts in Teaching, LaGrange College in 2008, and Education Specialist training at Valdosta State University in 2011

Justin
Sanderson
Junior Varsity Co-Head Coach
Coach Sanderson is the newly appointed Head Coach of RHS Varsity Football and is working closely with Coach Goff as an Assistant Wrestling Coach this upcoming 2011-2012 Season. Football and Wrestling go hand in hand, Wrestling helps develop better football players - a welcome partnership.
Coach Sanderson is a Lassiter High School graduate, played football and attended Valdosta State and Kennesaw State Univerisities and has earned a M. ED. in Leadership.
This is his 9th Year coaching at RHS, 1st year as the Head Coach for Football and his first year as assistant coach in Wrestling.
Coach also teaches Special Education - Social Studies. He's married to Jamie and has a young daughter, Lyla Grace who's first birthday was August 26th 2011- RHS first home football game against Collins Hill and his first home game as Head Football Coach.

Travis
Carr
Assistant Coach
Coach Travis Carr is an Atlanta native. He attended the Lovett School and graduated in 1994. While at Lovett, Coach Carr was a member of 4 state championship wrestling teams. He was a two time all state wrestler and a state champion at 145 pounds his senior year.
Coach Carr attended the University of Northern Arizona where he received a degree in Art Education. He also has an M.A. in education from Central Michigan university.
Coach Carr has been activly involved in Roswell Wrestling for over a decade and has served in the capacity of both Assistant and Head Coach. Coach Carr stepped down as the head coach for Roswell Wrestling during the 2010-2011 season to become the Assistant Coach for Evan Goff.
